The most expensive streets in Leeds – happy house hunting!

There are lots of lovely areas in Leeds to choose to settle in. Alwoodley, Chapel Allerton, Horsforth, Meanwood, Headingley, Adel, Roundhay, Garforth to name just a few – we’re spoilt for choice!

However, research by Leeds Live has revealed there’s just one street in Leeds where the average house sold in 2019 went for more than £1million. The website took a look at all the houses hitting the market in 2019 and worked out an average house price for those streets where more than three were sold. If you have won the lottery, apparently Hall Drive in Bramhope is where you should be heading.

Next on the list is Wigton Lane in Alwoodley which has an average value of more than £800,000 – Alwoodley Lane also took a space in the top ten with an average price of £630,000. Wetherby took three top spots with Crabtree Green ranking highest (£770,000), but also Mill Lane and Spofforth Hill. Two streets in Horsforth (Southway and West End Lane) and two in Guiseley took the remaining places in the final list (Hillway and Southway). There’s obviously something about the street name Southway given it took two of the top spots in different Leeds suburbs!
